This great all-rounder brings the best bits of strollers and buggies together in one superb package. The Recaro Lexa Elite is lightweight and compact, like a stroller, but it's fully featured, like a buggy!
Suitable from birth, the Lexa Elite starts out with your little treasure facing you, but when they want to start discovering the world, then the seat can be reversed and used for exploration up until they're four years old. The seat reclines completely flat in either position and the footrest adjusts for extra comfort, perfect for babies or a toddler who's getting naggy when you're out and about! The extra-large, extra high UPF50 sun canopy gives them some shelter while protecting them from the sun's harmful rays and the peekaboo viewing window lets you check on them while also helping with air circulation.
Speaking of comfort, your little one is guaranteed a smooth ride thanks to the all-wheel suspension and the hugely comfortable chassis and soft and squishy fabrics on the shoulder and crotch pads. In addition to the spring suspension, the front wheels are lockable, which means when you're traversing uneven terrain, like the grass at a park, then the wheels can be locked into place for extra stability. Your little one is locked in place with a sturdy 5-point harness!
One of the most useful features of a stroller is that it's great for travelling and the Lexa Elite takes its lead from the world of strollers! It folds easily with just one hand, it stands up on its own when it's folded it measures just 47 x 26 x 55cm, so takes up so little room that it will easily sit behind the driver's seat in a car or on a luggage rack on public transport. It only weighs 8kg, so it's no problem to use the included carry strap and sling it over your shoulder.
You can easily make the Lexa Elite part of a travel system by adding one of Recaro's compatible car seats, the Avan or Salia Elite, with the separately purchased car seat adaptors.
There are a few little extra's to make life easier for you too. There's a durable, yet pleasant to the touch, foam handle, there's the large under-seat shopping basket and brakes that can be operated with any type of shoe or even barefoot!
